If you have an extreme fear of dental visits or if you need hours of work, consider sedation dentistry. Oral conscious sedation will allow you to enter a state of total relaxation during your appointment. An hour before the visit, you will take a dose of anti-anxiety medication. We will monitor you closely during your procedure, and you will be able to respond to our requests and direction. For optimal comfort, we may combine nitrous oxide with oral sedation. Most patients have little or no memory of their time in the dental chair once the sedative's effects subside. With sedation dentistry, you can finally enjoy the smile of your dreams - without anxiety. Because the sedation may linger, a relative or friend must drive you to and from our office.
